Back in stock! Spectactularly sublime dub techno purism from Atheus on the equally excellent Styrax leaves imprint this week with two deep dub techno executions. Donning his pyjamas, Atheus dives for the brick at the deep end on 'Unendlich', submerging the listener into some damn fine dub tech sound scaping with those beautifully staggered chord arrangements and high tog atmospheric insulation, while 'Drone 37Hz' on the flip is possibly one of the most beautiful tracks to have emerged from the Styrax label, emerging into existance with the intangible drone of the title, and slowly drifting into pure bass heaven on a bed of plumped kicks bearing the production weight of a very talented man. Make sure you've got a good soundsystem or headphones for this one, it's a pearler.

Why do I love this masterpiece of Kinetic sound energy? You have to ask? It's quite evident from the very first track! N'est Pas? This release is deserving of the equivalent of a Grammy IMO! Too bad mainstream music executives and Media are rather "tone deaf" to "genuine" musical talent! But then again, we need that music for the MASSES! Radio stations need something to play! :) deeperthandeep2021
A conceptual ambient album about geometric shapes, the songs on “The Fifth Floor” are as soothing as they are alluring. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2022
