ORIGINALLY RELEASED ON VINYL, 12", IN GERMANY ( pressed on cristall clear vinyl - one sided track only).
BOOMKAT
Another blissful Rhythm & Sound aping transmission from the nether regions of dub techno, with Atheus returning to us with this sublime one-sided twelve on Styrax offshoot Millions of Moments. "Inchain FX" is a slow reflective number with buried chords and a padded bass progression that provides the tempered propulsion. Its the sort of thing you'll have heard a lot recently - but executed with the right balance of emotional rendition and technological iciness to make it stand out. Brilliant artist, brilliant label...
CLONE RECORDS
Another step in the development of the warm foggy minimal dubby techno sound of Berlin. Atheus delivers a hot record that will make you move your ass in a very gentle way. One Sided!
INTERSTELLARSOUNDS
Soft, shuffling dubby stuff on the second release from Berlin's Atheus in two weeks, the first being on the fabulous Metrolux. One elongated track of echoing bass and multifaceted textures. Quality
Another truly outstanding album from ASC. Love every single track, but 'Half the Words You Say' and 'Behind The Veil' are definitely my favourite tracks. Both remind me of Clint Mansell’s "Fountain" score. Miguel Ferreira
A conceptual ambient album about geometric shapes, the songs on “The Fifth Floor” are as soothing as they are alluring. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2022
Why do I love this masterpiece of Kinetic sound energy? You have to ask? It's quite evident from the very first track! N'est Pas? This release is deserving of the equivalent of a Grammy IMO! Too bad mainstream music executives and Media are rather "tone deaf" to "genuine" musical talent! But then again, we need that music for the MASSES! Radio stations need something to play! :) deeperthandeep2021
